Pork Chops with Hot Cherry Peppers

This is my take on one of my favorite pork chop dishes my mother used to make. The combination of sweet and savory flavors with a touch of heat makes my mouth water.

4 Pork Chops
1/4 onion, slivered
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
4 Cherry Peppers
1 tbsp avocado oil (high temperature)
1 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup of the liquid from the pickled hot cherry peppers.
1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Zio’s Browning Sauce (beef)
3/4 cup white wine
1 tbsp sesame oil

brown or wild rice

1. Marinate pork chops for about 30-60 minutes. Remove from marinade (save marinade). Season the chops with salt and pepper

2. In a skillet, heat 2 tbsp avocado oil and pan sear the chops, remove and set aside.

3. Sauté the onions and garlic.

4. When the onions begin to turn translucent an d the garlic softens, add the marinade, when it comes to a simmer add the cooked pork chops, cover and let cook for about 30 min.

5. Serve with 1 cherry pepper for each chop.
