Teriyaki Salmon (fish)

We need to eat more fish and salmon is a favorite for many people. This recipe can be used for salmon (Atlantic, Pacific, sockeye) or similar fish like trout. BBQ or oven.
Ingredients
2-4 pieces of salmon (fillets, or steaks (bbq))
1/3 – 1/2 small onion, cut – to make bed for salmon if being cooked in oven
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 tbsp honey
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
peppercorns – roughly cracked and crushed
2 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 lime, juiced
salt – to taste
sesame seeds
green onions or chives
Directions
1. In a small bowl, mix the crushed garlic, grated ginger, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil and honey.
2. coat salmon and let marinate (flesh side down) for 30 minutes
3. Preheat oven to 350F. Remove salmon from marinade and place on bed of sliced onions. Top with salt and cracked and crushed peppercorns
4. Let cook for approx.10-15 minutes and then drizzle 1/3 of left over marinade on top of salmon
5. Let cook for about 10 minutes before adding final glaze (the last of the marinade)
6. Let cook for a final 5-10 minutes
7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top!
Serve with brown rice
